It mirrors any packet size, bad CRC, VLAN traffic, sees both ends of full-duplex links. C8-1G has no IP address and is invisible to the network. It is fault tolerant, bypasses data on power failure, the monitor ports are none-intrusive to the network. -

2. Functional description 2.1 Interface connectors C8-1G has 8 x 4 RJ45 ports. Network ports A and B are connected to the network, Monitor ports A and B are con- nected to the analyzer. 2.2 LEDs : Speed/Link /Activity LEDs indicate Speed, Activity and Link for each of the 32 ports. -
