- Page 5 HEAVY DUTY PEDESTAL FAN 9) Operation Caution: Prior to plugging in the unit ensure the switch is in the OFF (0) position. Located at the rear of the fan motor (4) unit is the 3 speed switch (3) (Fig. 3). Plug the unit into a wall socket and switch the socket ON.

To adjust the fan Height; rotate the locking ring (7) on the telescopic stand (8) anti-clockwise (Fig.6a), this will allow you to move the head up and down to the desired height (Fig.6b).
