Technical Description This chapter provides information on the configuration and way in which your metal separator operates. The potentiometer has a visible scale between 1 and 10. The set value should be recorded and controlled at regular intervals. That is the only way to determine whether or not someone has altered the setting. At delivery, the potentiometer is set to Level 8. Assembly Instructions 8.1. Assembly The sturdy housing on the Mesep Extractor 38..70 metal separator has four fastening brackets, which make wall assembly simple and fast. It is also conceivable that the unit could be used on a mobile rack. The setup location should be chosen in such a way that there is sufficient space for performing service work and so that it is possible to open the upper inspection flap and the housing door. - Page 17 Inlet socket The material feed (incoming line) is connected to the left inlet socket on the Mesep Extractor 38..70 by means of a plastic hose or metal tube. Commissioning Commissioning is very simple. 10. Maintenance 10.1. General maintenance The metal separator is a sensitive test device. The assembly and operation are described in this Operating Manual. Normally, the metal separator will work safely and reliably without requiring any further adjustments to be carried out after commissioning. It is however largely dependent on the conditions of use, and whether and when parts of the metal separator have to be replaced or if any setting adjustments are necessary. -

The paper-based laminate tube should be examined for wear at regular intervals in any case. During the processing of fibreglass reinforced materials or strong abrasive materials, this maintenance interval should be shortened. The exact maintenance intervals can be assessed better during the course of operation.
