    READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING Important Safeguards DANGER: • Do not operate this device near a water source to avoid electrocution. WARNING: • Do not dismantle. • Do not use with power supply voltage other than 120 VAC. • Do not operate lamp in close proximity to flammable or combustible vapors, such as aerosol spray products, or where oxygen is being administered. • Do not cut or shorten the power cord. • This lamp is supplied with a shade designed specifically for use with this product. Use of any other shade other than the one supplied by the manufacturer may pose a safety hazard.

    Important Safeguards — continued • Do not use lubricating agent in assembly; please see troubleshooting section if you are having difficulty assembling your lamp. • Do not place near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or any other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produces heat. • Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or third prong is provided for your safety.

Setting a Wake-Up Program (Sunrise Simulator) Before you begin programming, press as needed to ensure the Display LED display is at its brightest setting.     Care and Maintenance Cleaning Disconnect the Rise & Shine from the power outlet and allow bulb to cool. Use ® only a dry, soft cloth and a mild non-abrasive cleaner to clean the lamp. CAUTION: Do not use solvents or cleaners containing abrasives, or ammonia based cleaners.
