Settings
Specifying the sound for an event
1. From the Home screen, select Start > Settings
> Sounds.
2. Select a sound, in an event. Your Toshiba
phone plays each sound as you select it. Select
None if you don't want to hear the sound.
3. Repeat for each event, and select Done.

Profiles

The Profile feature defines the Ring type, Ring
volume, Alarm type and Alarm volume. Your
Toshiba phone has several profiles, and you can
customize these profiles as follows:
Changing the current profile
The Profile feature defines how your Toshiba phone
notifies you of certain functions, such as incoming
calls and alarms.
To change your current profile:
1. From the Home screen, select the profile type.
For example, Profile: Normal.
2. Select a new profile.
3. Select Done.
NOTE: Some profiles are automatically
n
selected by your Toshiba phone depending
on how the phone is being used at the time.
For example, the device will move to Headset
profile when you plug in a headset.
TIP: To change the profile using the Quick
List, press the Power key to select the
desired profile.
NOTE: The Automatic profile has special
n
features, and adjusts according to various
situations. If you select this profile your
Toshiba phone will perform in Normal mode,
most of the time. However, if you have set up
a calendar appointment, for example, the
Meeting profile is activated when the
appointment takes place.
Customizing a profile
1. From the Home screen, select the profile type.
For example, Profile Normal.
2. Select Menu > Edit.
