Open bag containing the pump kit P7503. In the kit you will find:
1 - 40075 (75 gallon per hour pump)
1 - 8" long piece of 1/2" clear tubing
1 - 1" long piece of 3/8" clear tubing
1. Place the pedestal on a firm and level surface where fountain will remain. To level pedestal, place
level on the top of the pedestal. Level in (2) Two directions left to right and front to back. Shim as
needed.
2. Find the pump, the piece of 3/8" clear tubing 1" long, the piece of 1/2" clear tubing 8" long, rubber
stopper and hose clamp. Slip the piece of 3/8" clear tubing 1" long onto the outlet side of the pump and
then attach one end of the 1/2" clear tubing 8" long to the outlet side of the pump with a hose clamp.
Place pump in the pump house in center of pedestal and run the plug end of the electrical cord down the
PVC pipe located in the pump house and down through the pedestal. Retrieve cord from under pedestal
and place in the groove in the bottom of pedestal. Slip the rubber stopper onto the power cord with the
smaller end facing away from the pump. Insert the rubber stopper snugly into the PVC pipe. Make sure
the pump is seated on the bottom of the pump house. Adjust the position of the rubber stopper on the
power cord if necessary.
For fountain #3597 35" BIRDS OF A FEATHER FOUNTAIN only.
1a. Place the pedestal on a firm level surface where fountain will remain. Place the shell on the
pedestal.
2a. Find the pump, the piece of 3/8" clear tubing 1" long, the piece of 1/2" clear tubing 8" long, rubber
stopper and hose clamp. Slip the piece of 3/8" clear tubing 1" long onto the outlet side of the pump and
then attach one end of the 1/2" clear tubing 8" long to the outlet side of the pump with a hose clamp.
Place pump in the pump house in center of the shell and run the plug end of the electrical cord down the
PVC pipe located in the pump house and down through the pedestal. Retrieve cord from under pedestal
and place in the groove in the bottom of pedestal. Slip the rubber stopper onto the power cord with the
smaller end facing away from the pump. Insert the rubber stopper snugly into the PVC pipe. Make sure
the pump is seated on the bottom of the pump house. Adjust the position of the rubber stopper on the
power cord if necessary. Position the shell on the pedestal and level. To level shell, place level on the
top rim of the pump house located in the center of the shell. Level in (2) Two directions left to right and
front to back. Shim as needed.
3. Adjust pump. The pump has a built in flow control dial located on the front of the pump. Set the flow
control dial to the full open position.
4. Find the finial. On a padded surface lay the finial on its side. You will see a copper pipe in the base of
the finial. Remove any excess concrete or tape from both ends of this copper pipe.
5. Trim the 1/2" clear tubing connected to the pump to the proper length. Attach the piece of 1/2" clear
