6. Construct the Ladder.
You need: 8x Bolts (60mm), 8x Barrel Nuts, an Allen Key and a Screwdriver
(not supplied).
Lay both Ladder Legs and all four Ladder Treads on a soft floor. Use the holes on the back
edge of each Leg (X) as a reference point to ensure that both legs are orientated correctly.
Also ensure that the Barrel Nut holes on the back face of each Ladder Tread face upwards at
that the rounded edge of each tread is orientated as shown.
Once all is correctly aligned (as below) push the Bolts through the holes in the Ladder sides
and into the ends of the each Tread, locating the Bolts into the holes on the side of the Barrel
Nuts. (Barrel nut holes can be aligned with a Screwdriver). Ensure the Dowels on the ends of
the Treads also locate correctly. Once in position tighten the Bolts using the Allen Key to
secure.

7. Attach the Ladder
You need: 2x Ladder Hooks, 4x Small Bolts (20mm), 2x Screws (16mm) 2 x felt strips and a
Screwdriver.
A - A pair of inserts will be found near the top of each Ladder upright. Attach the Ladder Hooks
as shown, screwing the 4x bolts (20mm) into the inserts holes. Tighten fully. Now fit the 2 x felt
pads to the inside of the hooks.(paint protection)
B - Hook the Ladder Hooks over the Front Mattress Rail between the Safety Rail Stile and the
bedpost. Make sure the Ladder is even on the floor and Rail.
Fit the 2x Screws (16mm) through the ends of the Ladder Hooks and into the pilot holes on
the inside face of the Mattress Rail as shown.

1. Attach the rear Rails to the Sides.
You need: 12x Bolts (110mm), 12x Barrel nuts, 1x Allen Key and possibly a Screwdriver.
NOTE: Please refer to the orientation option images at the front of this user guide to
help you decide and understand which way to construct the product. This guide shows
construction with the Ladder and Desk positioned on the Right if selected. (Option A).
For Option B the construction must be mirrored.
This construction should be attempted by at least two people.
Lay the Rear Safety Rail, Ladder Left Mattress Rail and Lower Rear Brace on a soft level floor,
with the holes near the ends of the Rails facing upwards. The Mattress support rail must be
orientated at the bottom as shown (X) in Fig 1.1.
Align the Ends Using 12x Barrel nuts and 12x Bolts (110mm) as shown below (see Fig 1.2). It
is critical that the holes in the Lower Rear Brace and Mattress Rail are always positioned
closer to the Ladder End.
Push the Bolts through the holes in the Ends and into the ends of the Rails, locating the Bolts
into the holes on the side of the Barrel Nuts. (Barrel nut holes can be aligned with a
Screwdriver) Once in position tighten the Bolts using the Allen Key to secure.
Non Ladder End
The Lower Rear Brace and Rear Safety Rail can be orientated so
that the Barrel Nut holes can face inwards or outwards.
