WARNINGS
Extend the power cable to its full length to avoid any possible
overheating.
If you decide you do not want to use this appliance any longer, disable it
by cutting the power cable, of course, after disconnecting it from the
socket.
If the power cable gets damages, contact a qualified technician to
replace it.
In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, disconnect it
at once. Do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a qualified technician.
The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate as an
heating plate. Any other use is considered inappropriate.
The heating plate is thus not designed for cooking or defrosting food. Do
not place food directly on the stainless-steel plate.
The first time you use this appliance, it may give off a slight unpleasant
smell. This is due to the reaction of the insulating material in the
insulator, which dissolves under the effect of heat.
During charging do not put the appliance on surfaces which do not stand
up to temperature higher then 60°.
For a sake of safety the appliance can not be opened.
This appliance is considered electrically safe only when it is plugged into
an effective earthing system.
If in spite of proper handling malfunctioning should occur, do not try to
operate the appliance but take it promptly to a qualified technician.
