I DOS-kommandoen skal man indtaste IPCONFIG og trykke på Enter. Computerens IP-information vil blive vist som

vist herunder.

- IPCONFIG / RENEW vil fornye IP-adressen, gateway og DNS.

• Windows XP

Klik på højre musetast på netværksadapteren og vælg Status

Hjælpeskærmen vil vise IP-informationen.
