BMW E71 X6 SAC Rear Window Deflectors
Installation Note: Read all instructions before installing the side
window deflectors. Incorrectly installed deflectors may result in
damage to the deflectors and/or the window lift mechanisms.
Installation of this accessory is recommended at temperatures
above 50° Fahrenheit.
Start with the driver-side rear window. Open

window completely. Remove the adhesive
backing from the deflector.
Using your fingertips to apply light outward

pressure, pivot the left-hand side of the
deflector up and into the window channel.
Slowly and carefully close your window. It is

also recommended that you leave the window
closed for 24 hours to ensure the deflector
is properly seated. Repeat steps 1-5 for
passenger-side window installation.
Begin installation by inserting the rear edge

of the deflector into the window channel as
shown.
Once installation is completed, grasp the

deflector at the base and tug gently outward.
This will ensure that the deflector is properly
seated into the window channel and will allow
for adequate clearance for the window to
pass behind it.
IMPORTANT! Prior to closing your vehicle
windows for the first time; ensure that the thin
machined mounting flange is fully and properly
inserted i nto the window channel from front to rear.
