General information
Vehicles with a GPS module: the multimedia
system can automatically set the time and date.
The following navigation system functions
require the time, time zone and summer/stand-
ard time to be set correctly in order to work
properly:
route guidance on routes with time-depend-
R
ent traffic guidance
calculation of expected time of arrival
R
Vehicles without a GPS module: you can man-
ually set the time and date with the multimedia
system.
Switching automatic time on and off
The
Automatic Time Settings
only available in vehicles with a GPS module.
Explanation
The display is set perma-
nently to day design.
The display is set perma-
nently to night design.
In the
Auto
setting, the
multimedia system evalu-
ates the readings from the
automatic vehicle light
sensor and automatically
switches the display
design.

A time zone list may also be displayed,
depending on the country selected.
