B) SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
1. USB Devices Combo Scan,Combo Scan Kiosk, Combo Smart, Combo Smart Kiosk, PRMc
• Check our automatic notification e-mail which was sent on the day of dispatch –
and use the link to download the latest passport reader software. Alternatively,
contact our support team (http://atssregistration.arh.hu) to access our software
modules.
• Follow the steps of the install guide, which can be found in the software package.
Make sure to install both pr and procr software components.
Demo
Test your passport reader using the Full Page Reader application:
• Windows: Start menu
PrDemoSDL.exe
• Linux: Dashboard: Applications/Passport Reader Demo or Terminal: PrDemo or ~/usr/bin/PrDemo
SDK
Access the SDK content directly from the software package, in the SDK subfolder. You will find
different sdk packages – read WhichSdkToUse.txt to find the most appropriate SDK for your
development.
2. Network Devices Combo Smart N
• Using a web browser, connect to the scanner via its IP address.
The default IP address is 192.168.6.135.
Enter the following in your browser or use this QR code:
https://192.168.6.135:8080/login.html
• Login to the scanner software using the default credentials:
name: admin
password: admin
➝ ARH ➝ Full Page Reader or C:\Program Files\GX\demos\PrDemoSDL\
Network devices have onboard processing with pre-installed software; the
device does not require any driver to be installed on your PC.
