 When the water boils, hot steam will be emitted. Be careful
not to burn yourself. Wear oven gloves if necessary. Turn the
kettle (3) around so that the steam is directed away from
you.
 Clean the kettle (3) only after it has completely cooled down.
 Fill the kettle (3) with 1.7l of water maximum. See the water
level indicator (4) to help with this. Overfilling can result in
the kettle boiling over and could cause burns or damage to
property.
 Only boil water with the lid (11) closed. Otherwise the water
could boil over and cause burns and property damage.
 Do not open the lid (11) while the water is being heated.
WARNING about property damage
 The kettle (3) should only be used with the corresponding
base (6).
 Never place any objects on the base (6).
 Only operate the kettle on an even, stable and heat-resistant
surface. If the kettle is not placed on an even surface the
movement of the boiling water could make it tip over causing
damage to property and burns.
 Never leave the kettle unattended during operation.
 Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket when the
kettle is unattended.
