Operating Instructions for the Semak Hot Dog Cooker & Bun Spiker
Make sure that the Switches 3 & 7 are in the "OFF" position.
Before first use, fill the water tray up to 1/4 with water and attach the glass
cylinder with the round wire mesh
Plug into an earthed 240V AC power supply.
Turn on the device with the use of the ON/OFF (7) switch. The green indicator
lamp lights up.
After the device has warmed up, place the sausages in the glass cylinder. Set
the lid on top of the glass cylinder.
Set temperature control to highest power level in order to heat up the water,
the control lamp will light up.
Shortly afterwards, turn back the temperature control and adjust to the desired
temperature. The heating indicator lamp (5) goes out as soon as the set
temperature has been reached.

Use the dial to lower the temperature to keep sausages warm after they have
been cooked.
Foodstuffs should be maintained at 60ºC to prevent bacterial spoiling. (The
failure to meet proper food-handling standards may result in food poisoning
and prosecution.) Care should be taken to ensure that the food has reached the
correct temperature on the inside.
When finished cooking turn the knob to the "Off" position.
To use the bun spiker turn the spikes on. Allow to warm. When the light turns
off the spikes are ready to use. Use caution when spiking rolls that hands do not
come in contact with the spikes as burns are a potential risk.
