POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider
than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this
plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Power Button
ELECTRIC KNIFE
1. Remove all packaging materials before using.
2. Unplug knife from outlet.
3. Attach the two blades together by inserting the knob on one blade into
the keyhole slot on the other and sliding them together. With the
protective sleeve on the blades, carefully grasp the blades, serrated
side down, at the drip guards. Push into position until both blades click
into place (see Figure 1).
4. Remove the protective sleeve from blades and save for storage of
blades.
5. Plug into a 120 V ~ 60 Hz outlet.
6. To slice, press the power button (see Figure 1).
REMOVING THE BLADES
1. Unplug unit from outlet before removing blades.
2. Carefully grasp the blades (serrated side down) at drip guards.
Press eject button and carefully remove blades from knife.
