11.2 Problems with the device

Symptom
Device won't turn on.
No sound can be heard.
I can hear static interference.
There are other malfunctions, loud noise
or interference in the display.
The display won't turn on.
CD skips or the device can't recognise the
CD.
Device can't recognise a USB stick.

Possiblecause/Remedy
Connect the device to the power mains.
Increase the volume. It's possible that the wrong
source has been selected.
Near the device, a mobile phone or other device
is emitting radio waves that are interfering.
Remove the mobile phone or the device from
the vicinity of the radio.
There is a problem with the device's electronic
components. Remove the plug from the
socket. Leave the device unplugged for about
10seconds. Re-connect the device with the
powermains.
Turn off the device. Remove the plug from the
socket, re-insert the plug, turn on the device.
CD is dirty. Clean the CD.
Format the USB stick in FAT 32. If necessary, try
using a different USB stick.
