GBA B 0041 1 E ONVENTIONS – G ICTOGRAMS ENERAL SAFETY NOTES Be sure to observe these Instructions for Use as well as the safety notes to prevent injuries or damage to health or property. Do not alter or modify this appliance. Never use a defective appliance. - Page 6 GBA B 0041 1 E Do not run the power cord near heat sources, over sharp edges, etc. Always pull on the plug, not the cord, to remove it from a socket-outlet since the cord might be dam- aged as a result. Do not allow cords to hang unsupported. Route the cord so that it will not form a tripping hazard! When using an extension cord, unwind the cord from the reel to prevent heat build-up or cord fires, respectively.

GBA B 0041 1 E – W ICTOGRAMS ARNING NOTES Cleaning must only be performed by qualified persons who have read and under- stood these Instructions for Use and are familiar with applicable hygiene rules. En- sure that care is exercised during cleaning of the unit. For light cleaning, wipe down the surface with a cloth or soft brush/sponge soaked in warm water which contains a small amount of dishwashing detergent. -

GBA B 0041 1 E SSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Legal requirements and the connection conditions of your local power supply company must be fully observed. Before connecting or repairing the appliance, see to it that it is fully de-energized. Pull the CEE 7/4 two-pole and earthing-pin plug from the mains socket-outlet or switch off the circuit breaker. -

GBA B 0041 1 E PERATION The buffet-heat-lamp has one main switch and the buffet-heat-lamp BiTherm has two main switches placed in the stand. The buffet-heat-lamp must be switched on/off by the main switch. Indications: Do not touch the infrared radiator! Burn injury! Never cover the appliance while operating. -
