  • Page 2 Step 2 – setting up the ring light: • At the bottom of the ring light you will see a screw hole that secures the light to the stand • Line the screw hole up with the top of the stand and twist the light counter clockwise to secure Step 3 – setting up the flexible goose neck (optional): • The flexible goose neck (ribbed long metal pole) is an optional piece and is useful if you need to tilt your light in a variety of different directions when in use. For example, when you’re filming make up application on a client, you may want to tilt downwards, or a little to the right. It provides more flexibility than the standard tilt of the ring light. • To mount the goose neck, you will need the goose neck and the round knob found in the box. Screw the round knob into the hole at the bottom of the goose neck. Ensure the screw doesn’t obstruct the way as you will be mounting this end to the stand • To mount the ring light to the goose neck, please follow the same instructions as Step 2.
  • Page 3 • Once the knob has been screwed in, mount to the top of the light stand and screw the knob to tighten. You will know the flexible goose neck has been mounted correctly if it sits perfectly on the stand with a small part of silver showing, and the goose neck will not wobble Step 4 – turning the ring light on • Plug the ring light into a 240V AC outlet and hold down the white button on the left until the light turns on • You can twist the dimmer knob to control the strength of the light to suit. You can also twist the temperature knob to change between 3200k orange/yellow light, or to 5600k which is a more blueish white and is closer to daylight. Step 5 – setting up the camera bracket and mirror: • The camera bracket has a small square screw at the bottom which needs to be loosed to give enough clearance to slide into the bottom of the inside of the ring light...
  • Page 4 • Once you have slid the bracket into bottom of the inside of the ring light, spin the entire bracket clockwise to tighten. • To mount the mirror, slide the mirror into the grooves on either side of the inside of the ring light until it lines up with the two grooves on either side of the mirror • PLEASE NOTE: the mirror has a protective film over it to protect it from scratches during transport and packaging. You can remove this film when ready to use • The camera bracket is now ready for mounting your camera. The top of the camera bracket has a screw, which should match the hole in the bottom of your camera. To mount your camera, loosen the tightening knob of the ball head so it moves freely, then place the camera over the screw of the ball head and spin the head counter-clockwise • Once the camera has been secured to the top of the camera bracket, tighten the ball head knob to secure. You’re now ready to shoot!
  • Page 5 Step 6 – setting up the phone bracket (optional): • Once you have set up the camera bracket and mirror following Step 6 above, you’re now ready to mount the phone bracket. • The bottom of the phone bracket has a screw thread which you can mount to the top of the camera bracket ball head and twist to tighten and secure • You can pull the rubber tab located at the top of the phone bracket to expand and mount any smart phone, including iPhones and Androids.
