Types of softened water connection: 1. Connected with “brita” water softener filter (supplied as an optional feature). This solution keeps the management of the filter under control since its duration is managed directly by the elec- tronic panel of the oven.

    4 • DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS 4.1 - THE CORE PROBE ( OPTIONAL The core probe enables cooking regulated by the core temperature of the product. The appliance stops cooking when the core of the product reaches the set temperature, regardless of the time setting.

    5 • DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING As high pressure is reached inside the oven, the door is equipped with an automatic locking system for safety reasons. The door can only be opened by pressing the “RELEA- SE DOOR” key with the machine on. Once the button is pressed, the door remains unlo- cked for 60 seconds, during which it is possible to open the door using the handle.

    10 • COOKING 10.1 - COOKING: NEW PROGRAMS Using the knob, scroll down all the recipes until you reach “NEW PROGRAM” which is located at the bottom of the memorised pro- grams’ first screen. Select “NEW PROGRAM” using the Touch Screen or by pressing “EN- TER”.

    10 • COOKING 10.2 - COOKING: START OF A PROGRAM Open the door using the proper button, open the oven and place the food to be cooked. Close the door. For example, select “vegetables”; “Carrots 8 kg” On the memorised programs’ first screen, select the program you’d like to start-up by using the Touch Screen or the knob.

    10 • COOKING 10.3 - COOKING: START OF A PROGRAM WITH CORE PROBE The programs with a core probe have a different pro- cess compared to those without. Consider “FISH” program; “Sliced salmon” with the values of the adjacent figure: the 1st cycle features a core probe set to 55°C (131°F).

    10 • COOKING 10.4 - COOKING: 2 CYCLES Enter the “fish” menu and select “crab”, the screen on cooking crab in 2 cycles opens, which starts by pressing the “START/STOP” button. The time starts to decrease when 5°C (41°F) are left to reach the set value for the chamber (108°C - 226°F), a temperature that is maintained for the duration of the first cycle.

    11 • EXTRA PROGRAMS 11.1 - MULTILIVEL This feature enables the cooking of 3 baking trays at the same time Selecting “Multi-Level” makes a screen with 3 baking trays appear. Selecting the first pan through Touch Screen, 2 icons appear: the cooking time or the core probe.
  • Page 30 11 • EXTRA PROGRAMS 11.1 - MULTILIVEL When a cooking tray is ready, it is highlighted in red, simultaneously the cooking cycle stops and after a few seconds the door is released. Open and remove the baking tray. Once the door is closed again, the cooking cycle starts again until the cooking of the second tray is done.

    11 • EXTRA PROGRAMS 11.2 - DEFROSTING This feature enables the defrosting of frozen foods. The defrosting time in the oven is less than the time needed to defrost food at room temperature. Place the food from which liquid may flow in a perfo- rated container and place a non-perforated container under it.
