HOW TO OPERATE THE BATTERY OPERATED MOTOR CYCLE: 1. Step on the pedal to start, lift foot off the pedal to stop. 2. Press go ahead to go forward, press back to reverse. When the switch is not on either mode, the bike will not drive. 3. When in go forward, the head light will be on. 4. When in reverse, the tail light will be on. 5. Press the siren button to hear the siren, press the music button to hear the music. 3. SAFETY: Please instruct the child on the correct way to drive the motor tricycle. 4. HOW TO USE THE BATTERY: It is normal for the battery to be warm when charging. 1. The motor tricycle must be charged prior to its first use. Working AC voltage is 220V (or 1100V)(+/‐10%). 2. Charging time is 8 ‐ 12 hours. The first hour of charging can get back 60% of the batteries energy back. You may leave it to charge overnight, but NEVER continuously over 20 Hours. Otherwise you will shorten the batteries life. 5. MAINTENCE AND TROUBLE SHOOTING: Factors which may influence the motor tricycles performance and life span: ‐ How flat the driving surface is ‐ The weight of the driver ‐ Whether the battery has been fully charged ‐ Whether the motor tricycle is regularly used ‐ Wether water or any other liquid has eroded the electrical components Cleaning: Clean the motor tricycle with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any wax or spray liquids for cleaning. It could erode the power switch. Storage: Do not store the motor tricycle in an area of high temperature, humidity or near flames. When raining or snowing, keep the motor tricycle under cover and out of the weather. Do not change the batteries setting, as it can cause fire and damage the electrical circuit system. Do not change the motor tricycles electrical circuit system. Any repairs done to this unit must be carried out by authorised and qualified service personnel. If the motor tricycle will not be used for a long period of time (3 months or longer), it is advised that you fully charge the battery and disconnect it from the connections. A long period of non use will damage the battery. It is advised that the battery should be charged once a month, even if the motor tricycle is not being used. A new battery must be fully charged before its first use. Please take care with the battery as it contains acid electrolyte. Handling of the battery by adults only. If the battery has leaked, do not touch the acid. Place the battery into a polybag and dispose of it. If the electrolyte splashes on your skin or into your eyes, immediately wash with water for at least 15 minutes and consult your doctor. Do not contact the batteries two terminals with any other metal objects. It will cause short circuiting, damage or fire. Adjust the f/r switch to on and press the siren button to check for power. If you hear no music, check that the battery has been joined up correctly. Correct if required. Never push or pull the motor tricycle backward when it is running. 6. ASSEMBLY: Warning: Children could be injured by sharp edges, sharp angles, small components or electrical components. Take care when assembling or disassembling the motor tricycle. Insert the plug of the charger into the charging socket which is on the main body of the bike above the siren and music buttons. Connect the charger to the motor tricycle first, and then connect the plug to power. Please note, the motor tricycle cannot be driven when charging. Do not insert any metal pieces into the charging hole as to avoid short circuiting and any damage to the electro circuit. This vehicle has a function of charging protection and while it is being charged, other functions can not be used. This vehicle also has a function of overload protection.
