Safety Stop Screws
Flat Head Locking Screws
FIG. A.
1.
(Optional) Attach the Strap Loop onto the Bracket plate using the small Allen wrench and screws
provided. The loop will sit partially recessed into the cutout on the bottom of the Bracket Plate.
The strap loop should be curved downward away from the camera body.
2.
Next, install the Custom Bracket Plate onto your camera or grip using the supplied
1/4-20 Camera screw and 5/32 Allen Key.
3.
You are now ready to install the captive rods into the Vertical L-Plate. First, Insert the
Rod into the Vertical L-plate, (3) with the flat part facing in, see rod diagram for more
information. Then, insert the Flat Head Locking Screw and tighten down. Repeat for the
other side, (4). Note: The Rod must have the flat facing inward to attach properly. Once
completed on the L-plate, slide the rods into the bottom of the Bracket Plate.
NOTE: The Rods will NOT go in if the screws are already started. Slide the Rods into
the Bracket Plate until you see the flat part facing inward, then insert the screws.
** If the Rods feel really tight once installed and not allowing the unit to move back/forth, loosen either screw 3 or 4, reinsert, then retighten.
** NOTE: Some models may NOT feature captive rods.
4.
The L-Bracket may be locked down in any position as long as the rods are being
secured by the screws (1 and 2) mounted underneath on the Bracket Plate. Securely con-
nect the L-Bracket to the Bracket Plate by tightening the flat head screw #1 first using a 5/32 Allen
key, then tighten the second, screw 2.
