ADDITIONAL OPERATIONAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR WOOD MAKING IRON
After opening the package, please check whether every single part of the device is in a good con-
dition or whether there is visible transport damage. If there is obvious damage, please do not put
the device into operation and contact your dealer immediately!
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug if you move the appliance.
Avoid exposing parts of the device to increased mechanical stress (impact, shock, etc.).
Make certain that the rated power stated on the machine's rated plate agrees with the local main
current circuit voltage before connecting the machine to the main circuit.
230 V machines can also be connected to 220 V main circuits.
Be sure to disconnect the machine from the main circuit after finishing work.
Allow the device to cool down completely before storage! Rest the device on the stand provided or
on a non-flammable surface during breaks or after finishing work. Do not leave the machine unsu-
pervised until it has cooled down completely.
Do not use the device if handle, main cable or plug shows any signs of damage. Send the device
to an authorized workshop for repair. Never open the device yourself.
If the cable or plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired! The ca-
ble must be replaced with a new one. This must only be done by the manufacturer or an autho-
rized service partner.
Never lift, transport or attach the device to the power cord.
Keep the device away from children!
Do not expose the device to water or moisture.
The device may only be used indoors.
Only use the device for the purpose specified in these instructions for use.
Ensure that no liquids enter the device.
Do not touch the marking tip or marking iron when the device is hot. Danger of burns!
Use the device only in well ventilated rooms.
Do not eat or drink whilst working with the device. Always wash your hands thoroughly after finish-
ing work.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of this appliance by a person re-
sponsible for their safety.
