Operating Your Appliance Always choose a safe location for the dehumidifier, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. Operating your Appliance UV LIGHT BUTTON (For Air Purification) Pressing this button turns on the “UV” function. The indicator light to the right of the button will illuminate when turned on. The germicidal UV light improves the air quality by destroying germs, bacteria, and fungi. To turn of the “UV”, press the button again.

Download Goldair mobile APP • Open the APP Store or Google Play on your mobile phone. • Open “Search” and enter “Goldair" • Click “GET” and begin to download and install. Once downloaded to your phone open the APP Tap REGISTER near the bottom of the screen.

Setting up WiFi • Enter the verification code from your text message • Create a password. • Then tap confirm. If you haven’t received a verification code via text message. Tap the resend button and when the verification code is received follow above steps. Your APP is now registered and ready for pairing to your dehumidifier.

Pairing APP to dehumidifier On your phone tap “ADD DEVICE” to connect to the dehumidifier. Turn on your dehumidifier and then press and hold the MODE Button on the dehumidifier. Release it after it beeps 3 times. The unit is now ready to connect to your WIFI Network.

Pairing APP to Dehumidifier Choose/confirm which WiFi to connect to. Note: your phone may pick up other WiFi signals (e.g. neighbours) so you will need to choose. Operating your Dehumidifier from the APP MODE Mode can be set to Auto, Fan, High or Low. Press the ‘Mode’ icon to set the required operating mode. Auto Mode: Maintains the room at an ideal domestic environment humidity of 50-55% relative humidity (RH) while saving electricity.

Operating your Dehumidifier from the APP OSCILLATING BUTTON Press this button to set the louvre position at 45 degrees, 90 degrees or to oscillate between both positions.

Operating your Dehumidifier from the APP TIMER (SCHEDULE) In the main APP screen, scroll down to find the Schedule button under the dehumidifier controls. Press this button to set smart timer. The timer in the APP has far more functionality than the timer button on the unit.

Troubleshooting your Dehumidifier Problem Cause Solution When the unit is in dehumidifying mode, it absorbs humid air from room and freezes it to reduce humidity. During the cold cycle, there Hot or cold air being produced Normal operation should be cold air coming out of the unit. During the defrost cycle, hot air should be coming out of the outlet grill.
In non-domestic use Goldair limits the voluntary warranty to three months. Goldair undertake to repair or replace this product at no charge if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.
