    After all connections are complete, connect the power cord’s plug to the AC wall socket. < Read the instructions of each device that you intend to use with this unit. < Be sure to connect each plug securely. To avoid hum and noise, do not bundle the connection cords. USB flash memory VIDEO IN TV (monitor) etc.

    Basic Operation (2) Tone Control You can change the bass and treble sound between “–4” to “+4”. Press the BASS or TREBLE button. To adjust the level of low frequency sound range, press the BASS button. To adjust the level of high frequency sound range, press the TREBLE button.

    Listening to an iPod/iPhone (1) Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select “iPod”. Connect an iPod/iPhone to the dock. The iPod/iPhone automatically turns on and starts playback from the play list of iPod/iPhone. If an iPod/iPhone is already connected, press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select “iPod”.

    USB Flash Memory CAUTION Never turn the unit off or disconnect a USB flash memory when it is being accessed. Doing so could damage the SR-80i and the connected USB flash memory. < Do not use a device that has a maximum current consumption of 100 mA or more.

    Listening to a USB Flash Memory (1) Do not use a high-capacity USB hard discs. Only USB flash memory can be used. Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select “USB”. < When no USB flash memory is connected, “No USB” appears on the display.
