Outgoing calls (make sure you are in BLUETOOTH AUDIO mode):
-
You will need to use your phone to initiate an outgoing call. You
may also enable the voice dialing function on your phone and
the BT45 microphone will pick it up (as long as it is connected to
your phone). However, keep in mind the environment inside a
moving vehicle tends to be a bit noisier than your average
environment which may affect the way your phone picks up
your voice commands (through the BT45). We recommend for
faster and ease of use, its best to manually access your call logs
and dial from there or your contact list.
Note: once you are done with any given phone call, the radio will stay in
SAT1, SAT2 or SAT3 BLUETOOTH AUDIO mode. You must manually select
any other audio source of your choice (i.e. FM/AM or CD).

AUXILIARY AUDIO INPUT:

The BT45-FORD1 has an onboard AUXILIARY AUDIO input and
can be used for any device with a Line-level audio output such as the
headphone plug from a laptop, DVD players or other portable devices.
Accessing the AUXILIARY input:
While the radio is in SAT1, SAT2 or SAT3 mode, press and hold PRESET
#6 for up to 3-seconds to switch into AUX audio input. Play your device
manually and adjust the volume to ensure the best sound fidelity. Short
press PRESET number 4 to switch back to Bluetooth AUDIO mode..
