General Instructions Legend, Explanation of symbols The following safety symbols are used in these operating instructions. Above all, these symbols are intended to draw the attention of the reader to the adjacent safety instructions. This symbol indicates that there are hazards to the life and health of persons. The symbol indicates that there are hazards for the machine, material or environment.
Keep these operating instructions stored in a safe place. They are for practical use and should be available to the user at the location of the equipment. These operating instructions apply to Batterie-Ladeschrank. It contains all the information needed regarding correct startup, trouble-free operation, maintenance, removal from service and disposal. The instructions in this user manual must be carefully followed and adhered to.

Assembly Place the battery charger evenly on ground level; if necessary, align the cabinet and the doors. Optionally, the cabinet can be fixed to the wall with screw hooks. To secure against being lifted off, the cabinet should be fixed with the supplied screw in the middle of its rear wall. Observe the permissible load of the wall connection (see weight and bearing load).
Connecting the fan and the external chargers • Place the external chargers onto the plate of the battery charging cabinet • Connect the external connection terminals of the external chargers to the through connections for the screws on the rear of the battery charging cabinet! Fault Before working on components within the battery charging cabinet, pull the mains plug! Make sure that the device is disconnected! Exhaust air is monitored by a differential pressure sensor. After switching on the charging procedure (charging procedure ON), the pressure sensor requires a run-up time of 30 secs before it is able to evaluate the exhaust air.
