    INTRODUCTION Congratulations on choosing your new Burromax TT40 Gas Minibike Your Burromax Minibike was designed as a recreational vehicle for off-road use only and by a single rider only. This minibike is easy to use and is ideal for riders with basic experience. Before riding, please take your time to get acquainted with your minibike and how it works.

    GETTING STARTED FUELING The TT40 uses a Four stroke engine Do not Mix Oil and Gas. Please read instructions below before fueling. 1. Fuel should be regular 87 octane pump gas only 2.Use only approved fuel container. Make sure container is clean and dry inside before filling with fuel.

    OPERATING CONTROLS BEFORE STARTING The operating controls of the TT40 are relatively simple, but a rider must to be able to operate the throttle, brake and other controls. Please become familiar with the function and the location of each control. Before starting your TT40, you must be sure that the kill switch is in the ON position, the choke is in the START position and that there is fuel in the primer button.

    BASIC OPERATION The following section of the manual provides some basic information on how to begin riding your TT40 Gas Minibike. We will cover how to start and stop the engine, how to use the throttle and brake and what you should do when you finish riding.

    BASIC OPERATION If the engine fails to start after repeated attempts, it may mean that it is flooded with excess fuel. A common indication of a flooded engine is a strong smell of fuel around the minibike. Follow the steps below to clear a flooded engine. A FLOODED ENGINE 1.

    BASIC OPERATION BREAKING TECHNIQUE This section will cover basic braking technique for your minibike. To slow or stop, squeeze the brake lever firmly and smoothly. Gradually increase your braking pressure as you feel it is needed. Always think ahead and allow yourself enough room to stop safely. Just be careful to apply braking power carefully to avoid sending the minibike into a skid which will cause you to lose control.

    Basic Maintenance Procedures Air Filter A dirty, clogged air filter will inhibit the performance of your TT40 minibike, so it is important and quite easy to check and clean it periodically. Burromax recommends that the air filter gets checked every month and cleaned at least every three months. More frequent cleaning may be required if you tend to ride in extremely dusty or dirty conditions.

Follow the steps below to inspect, clean and/or replace the spark plug if needed. 1.To access the spark plug you must first remove the plastic engine cover.

    Basic Maintenance Procedures Spark Plug Maintenance When you inspect the spark plug, generally it will fit into one of the four categories shown above. A normal/clean spark plug will have a light brown center and displays no wear around the electrodes. A spark plug with a bright white center indicates a lean condition in the engine.

    Basic Maintenance Procedures CLEANING THE FUEL TANK The fuel tank on the TT40 must be kept clean to keep the engine running smoothly and efficiently. Over time, sediment can build up in the tank and get caught in the inner workings of the carburetor causing clogs and poor performance. To help avoid contamination and sediment build-up be sure to always wipe off the area around the fuel cap before you open it, and the spout of your fuel container before pouring in fuel.
