Use index or address search to locate the index or address signal

When the index
or
address signal has been located and normal playback begins, press the PAUSEISTILL but-
ton to obtain still frame.
Watching the elapsed time counter, rewind the tape approximately 1 0 seconds, and then press
the
PAUSEISTILL button to obtain still frame.
Press the NUMBER 0 button on the remote contrd unit.
Press the ADDRESS ENTER button on the remote contml unit.
Press the PAUSOSTILL button to release the still frame mode and erasure of the index or address signal will
begin. (The ADDR indicator flashes for approximately 1 0 seconds while the index or address signal is being
erased .)

This function makes it possible to skip a specified number of index and address signals (both non-numbered and
numbered) to locate the desired index point.

T o search for the first index
or
address signal in the fw-
ward direction, press the
+
button once. The word INDX
illuminates and the channel display changes to an index
search display displaying
"
+
1". When the first index or
address signal is reached, the W=R will begin playback
and the channel display will be
restored.
T o search past the first index
or
address signal, press the
+
button repeatedly, upto 1 9 times, until the desired in-
dex point
is
displayed on the index search display. The
display will countdown until the selected index or address
signal
is
reached at which point playback will commence
and the channel display will be restored.
For reverse index search press the
-
button. The
reverse index search may also be set to search for
upto the 19th index or address signal.
Index search
can
be interrupted by pressing either the
STOP or PLAY button.
Press once for first index or address signal
