Spraying
Turning paint nozzle 2 Fig. 2 changes its diameter.
Before starting work, use a test piece to establish the
optimal setting for the chosen paint.
Move the airbrush at an even speed and even distance
(approx. 5-15 cm), Fig. 3.
Do not stay in one place for too long.
Spray several times for a darker shade.
When spraying surfaces, first lift the airbrush and then
press lever 1 Fig. 2. Continue this movement briefly
after releasing the lever. This ensures that the paint is
applied evenly.
Use templates for fine contours.
Cleaning the compressor
Only dry-clean the compressor (no water, no solvents).
Cleaning the airbrush AB 100
1. Clean the nozzle with a cloth.
2. Fill paint container 8.Fig. 1 with clear water and
spray until no more paint residues are present.
3. Then blow air through the airbrush to dry.
The airbrush can become blocked if not cleaned ade -
quat ely. Even application of the paint cannot be gua -
ranteed if the airbrush is used after a blockage has
occurred.
The airbrush must be disassembled if there is irre mov -
able dirt. In this case, carry out the following procedure:
1. Turn paint nozzle 2 Fig. 2 to left stop.
2. Turn nut 3 to left stop.
Nozzle valve 4 can now be removed.
3. Unscrew air nozzle 5.
4. Clean all metal parts with solvents. Then dry
thoroughly using a cloth.
5. Reassemble airbrush and blow through with air.
