6. Turn the temperature dial to the required setting according to the guide
below:
How to fill the water reservoir
1. Unplug the iron.
2. Set the steam selector to dry iron and turn the temperature dial to
minimum.
3. Open the filling point cap
4. Fill the water reservoir through the filling point, ensuring the cover is closed
after filling.
5. If your area has hard water it is advisable to use only distilled or
demineralised water.
6. Do not store the iron with water in the reservoir.
Do not use chemically de-limed or perfumed water.
Steam Ironing
1. Fill the Iron as described in the previous section.
2. Plug the Iron into the mains supply.
NB Steam Ironing is only possible when the highest temperature is
selected.
3. Set the temperature dial to the maximum position, the indicator light will
illuminate.
4. Once the indicator light goes out the iron has reached the correct
temperature and is ready to steam iron.
5. Turn the steam selector to the required position.
6. During breaks in ironing always place the iron in the upright position.
7. After use disconnect the iron from the mains and allow to cool before
pouring off any remaining water.
Spray Function
1. The spray function can be used when either steam ironing or dry ironing as
long as there is water in the reservoir.
2. Press the spray button for this function, each press gives a spray of water.
