ADJUSTMENTS AND PARTS
(A) Stopwatch minute hand
(B) Stopwatch second hand
(C) Date display
(D) 24h display
(E) Winder
TIME AND DATE SETTING
-
Pull the winder (E) into position 2 and set the current time by turning the winder
(E).
The second hand stops, in order to allow the seconds to be set correctly.
When setting, also make sure to set the 24h display (D) correctly.
-
Pull the winder (E) into position 1 and set the date display (C) by turning the
winder (E) clockwise.
If the date is set between 21:00 and 1:00, the date may not change the
following day.
Do not press the buttons S1 and S2 while the winder (E) is pulled out; other-
wise, the zero position of the stopwatch display can be changed.
-
Push the winder (E) back into the normal position.
24 H DISPLAY
With the 24 h display (D), the time (hours only) is not displayed in 12h format, as with
normal analogue watches, but rather in 24h format. Thus, you can use it in addition
to tell whether it is currently day or night.
STOP FUNCTION
When using the stopwatch, make sure that the hands of the stopwatch dis-
play (A) and (B) are in the zero setting (12 o'clock position) before starting.
The stopwatch can measure a time interval of up to 60 minutes.
-
Start the stopwatch by pressing S1.
-
Stop the stopwatch by pressing S1 again.
-
An adding function is available when the stopwatch is started and stopped
several times by pressing S1.
-
To reset after stopping, press S2.
-
The stopped time is shown by the minutes display (A) and the seconds display
(B).
-
While the stopwatch is running, you can record an intermediate time by pressing
S2.
The time measurement continues to run, but the hands are stopped. When you
then press S2 again, the hands of the stopwatch run quickly to the current time
recording.
MANUAL ZEROING OF THE STOPWATCH HANDS
If the hands of the stopwatch do not return to the 12 o'clock position after a reset,
they must be corrected manually. This may happen e.g. after a blow or replacing
the batteries.
-
Pull the winder (E) into position 2.
-
Move the hands of the stopwatch into the zero position (12 o'clock position) by
pressing S1 or S2.
S1 moves the hands counter-clockwise; S2 moves them clockwise. If you keep S1
or S2 pressed, the hands run in fast mode.
-
Afterwards, push the winder (E) back into the normal position.
Never press the winder back to its normal position while the second hand of
the chronograph (2) is still returning to the zero position.
The second hand will stop where it is when you press the crown back into
normal position, and this new position of the second hand is then identifi ed
as the zero position.
