APPLICATIONS For water transfer jobs when pumping water from pools, spas, lakes or ponds. The WA57CIUP pump can also be used to boost water pressure in washdown applications. The motor is fan cooled, non-submersible AC brush motor. A plas- tic suction stainer is supplied with the pump. The WA57CIUP pump is designed to pump only water. NEVER PUMP GASOLINE, CHEMICALS OR ANY CORROSIVE OR FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS with the WA57CIUP.

INSTALLATION The figure of the front of the pump shows a typical installation with threaded brass adapters for con- necting a garden hose are included. Rigid pipe is recommended for suction line. However be sure to only use reinforced garden hose when needing a flexible suction line. Reinforced garden hose will help avoid collapse during operation. In no case should the pump be more than 15 feet above or away from the inlet source. Install a foot valve when the suction lift or suction line is over 10 feet.
OPERATION AUTOMATIC THERMAL PROTECTION CAUTION: Do not cycle or continue to run the pump following an overload condition. Thermal overloads are designed to protect the product and user during extreme conditions where nor- mal operating parameters are exceeded. Determine the cause of an overload condition imme- diately after detection and resolve prior to operating the pump again.
