    Connect the Ethernet Cable Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the network cable connector located on the back panel of the DCS-6620G, and attach the other end to a router, switch, or gateway on the network. If you connect this camera directly to a PC, you will need a cross-over Ethernet cable.
  • Page 6 DCS-660G Install Guide Attach the A/V cable to the A/V out connector if you wish to connect the DCS-6620G to your TV set. Note: Audio Out from the A/V port is for connecting a speaker to the camera so that a person in front of the camera can hear the person on the other end of the communication.

    DCS-660G Install Guide Installation Wizard Insert the DCS-6620G CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the CD Autorun function does not automatically start on your computer, click Windows Start > Run. In the Run command ® box type “D:\DCS6620G.exe”, where D: represents the drive letter of your CD-ROM. If it does start, proceed to the next screen.

    The software will search for cameras. The Installation Wizard will now show a MAC address of the DCS-6620G and an IP Address (which may or may not be correct depending on what you have your DCS-6620G connected to).
  • Page 10 Let go when the red LED starts to flash the second time. Click Search to refresh the list of cameras if needed. Once the camera appears, select the camera by placing a Checkmark in the box. D-Link Systems, Inc.

  • Page 14 Leave the box titled This camera can be found by installer whenever it starts up, unchecked to avoid running this install application each time you boot up the DCS-6620G. Check this box if you need to change the IP Address next time the DCS-6620G boots up.
