7. AFTER DIVING

Once back at the surface, Suunto D4 continues to provide post-dive safety information
and alarms. Calculations to enable repetitive dive planning also help to maximize diver
safety.

7.1. Surface interval

An ascent to any depth shallower than 1.2 m/4 ft (0,5 m/1,6 ft in FREE mode) will
cause the DIVING display to be replaced by the SURFACE display:

YOU SHOULD PROLONG YOUR SURFACE INTERVAL TIME.
