Line-level audio signals

The preampliÞ er's line-level Main
audio outputs can be connected to
a power ampliÞ er as shown. This
example shows the matching SunÞ re
Symphonic Reference power ampli-
Þ er. The 12 VDC connection can be
used to turn the ampliÞ er on when the
preamp turns on.
NOTE: As an alternative, you
could connect the preampliÞ er's High-
Pass outputs to the ampliÞ er, and con-
nect the preampliÞ er's Main outputs
to a Powered Subwoofer. In this way,
the main speakers can play the range
above 80 Hz, and the subwoofer can
play the low range. Set your subwoof-
er's crossover point at 80 Hz. This
system is beneÞ cial if you have small
mini monitor type speakers, with weak
bass response.
