    NORtHStAR E™ RAMP OPERAtION VMI’s Northstar E™ manual conversion is equipped with a manually operated door and WARNING ramp system. The ramp deploys from and stows into the vehicle floor on the passenger side.     Because the vehicle frame is modified as part of the conversion, the jacking locations have been relocated and special jack pads installed. Shown below are the only VMI-approved locations for the OEM jack to lift the vehicle safely. Using the OEM jack to lift the SUV from any other location may result in damage to the vehicle frame and/or conversion components and could result in serious bodily injury.

    It is important to perform scheduled inspection and maintenance on VMI conversion products and restraint components to provide safe and trouble-free operation and to comply with the VMI Limited Warranty. Failure to comply with at least the minimum required maintenance may nullify your warranty. The following is the required minimum maintenance schedule to be followed.
