5. Remove the thumb nut from one side of the hinge pin.
6. Remove the hinge pin from the hinges on both waffle
plates. Note how the waffle plate hinges are positioned
together for reassembly.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Turn Temperature Control clockwise to increase the
temperature setting.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Reviewing "Operating the Unit" in the OPERATION section
of this manual.
Plug unit into proper power supply.
Reset circuit breaker. If circuit breaker continues to trip,
contact an Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Perform the "Weekly" procedure for cleaning the waffle plates
in the MAINTENANCE section, followed by the "Seasoning
the Waffle Plates" procedure in the OPERATION section.
