The 4090-9118 Relay IAM with T-Sense provides the 4100U FACP output control
of one Form-C contact set and input status from a T-Sense monitoring zone. The
Relay IAM with T-sense provides the 4100U FACP with the status/state of the
monitored zone. The 4 states that it can indicate are: OPEN, NORMAL,
LIMITED, and SHORT. The LIMITED state occurs when a normally-open
device, electrically located between the series resistor and the EOL resistor,
activates. The FACP can then annunciate the status of closed devices depending
on whether they are before or after the series resistor.
The IDNet channel provides the communication link between the Relay IAM with
T-Sense and 4100U FACP while powering the entire circuit.
The range of possible temperatures under which the 4090-9118 Relay IAM with T-
Sense can function is between 32° F (0° C) and 120° F (49° C). This Relay IAM
operates normally under non-condensing humidity conditions up to 93% relative
humidity at 90° F (32° C).
Relay IAM with T-Sense installation consists of the following:
