Horizontal ventilation flap In addition to the electronic movement of the ventilation flaps, you have the additional option of adjusting the ventilation flaps manually by freely selecting an angle up to 45°. 1 Pull the flaps up and bring them into the desired position.

OPERATION PANEL Familiarise yourself with the control panel and the remote control and all the functions before operating the appliance. Follow the symbol for the desired function. The appliance can be operated from the control panel of the appliance or with the remote control.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE 1 Switching the appliance on/off 2 Changing the temperature Press or hold the key down till the desired temperature appears on the display. Please choose a temperature between 17°C and 30°C. If the display should show the current room temperature, see Section 4. The temperature may be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius.

4 modes Press the MODE key to select the desired mode. Pressing the button again will switch the operating modes in the follow- ing sequence: auto , cool , dehumidify , fan . You can view the mode you have selected with the help of the con- trol light.

6 Clean Air function (only with model MPM3-12CRN1) Press the key. This will start the Clean Air mode. It supports the removal of pollen and contamination from air and catches it in the filter. 7 Timer function Automatic start Press the key when the appliance is switched off.

8 Turbo function Press the key in the mode, and the appliance will produce very cold air at maximum blower speed. The set temperature is reached in the least possible time in this way. This function is available only in the mode.
INSTALLATION AND START-UP 1. Read all instructions carefully before commissioning the appliance. Observe the safety instructions of this user manual in particular. 2. The appliance must be in the upright position for at least 24 hours before start up. This especially applies following transport.

9. Do not use any extension cable, a multi-socket that is also used by other electrical appliances or a continuous speed regulator. This can lead to overheating, causing a fire. 10. Connect the dehumidifier only to a functioning, single-phase, earthed socket with the mains voltage specified on the rat- ings plate.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Cooling 1. Press the key until the control light lights up. 2. Now select the desired room temperature with the help of the keys. 3. The temperature can be set in the 17°C – 30°C/62°F – 88°F range. 4.
2. Press the key. This activates the Timer Off program. The control light lights up now. 0.0 appears in the display. You can define when the appliance is to be switched off automatically by pressing the keys. The deactivation is set back by 30 minutes each time you press the key (from 10 hours to 60 minutes). For example, the display 9.5 means that the appliance will be switched off automatically after 9 hours and 30 minutes.

A. FLooR DRAIN 1. Switch the appliance off and disconnect the power plug from the power socket. Move the appliance into a room or to a location where water can drain directly on the floor without damaging any furnishings. 2 Loosen the discharge hose and let it hang. Then remove the bottom rubber stop from the hole on the rear side 3.
INSTALLATION The exhaust air hose and adapter must be installed or removed depending on the intended use. Operating mode COOL: install. Operating mode FAN, HEAT, or DEHUMDIFY: remove. 1. To ensure optimal performance of the appliance, the warm air must be guided out of the room. 2 To do this, move the exhaust air hose as illustrated in the figure, with one end over the hot air outlet.

Permanent installation 1. Drill an appropriately big hole in the outer wall. It should be maximum 120 cm and minimum 30 cm from the floor. 2 Now fix Adapter A with the help of four expansion plugs and screws. 3. Fix the loose end of the exhaust hose (which you used earlier in the appliance – see above) on Adapter A. 4.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE We recommend the frequent cleaning of the appliance. Follow the instructions on cleaning, maintenance and storage of the appliance to avoid possible damage to the functioning of the appliance. Important principles: 1. Do not use petrol, thinner or other chemicals to clean the appliance. 2.
Storage 1. If you intend not to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove the lower drainage plug on the back of the appliance and drain the water from the tank under the appliance into an external bowl (use the discharge hose if needed).
