Position the gas hose so that it does not
come into contact with hot parts of the
patio heater and keep it straight.
Only use gas hoses approved by the
relevant national authorities. The gas hose
must be a maximum of 150 cm long and
must be fitted with an approved regulator.
Check regularly that the gas hose is not split
or crumbling and replace if necessary.
The gas bottle must be changed outside at
a safe distance from naked flames and other
sources of ignition.
If you discover a leak, turn off the gas supply
at the regulator immediately and avoid
naked flames and other sources of ignition.
Wait a few minutes until the area has aired.
Carry out a leak test when you connect a
new gas bottle or if the patio heater has not
been used for a prolonged period. Do not
carry out the leak test using a naked flame!
See 'Leak test' .
Turn off the gas supply using the regulator
after use.
Do not attempt to modify the patio heater,
including the regulator and the burner. Do
not try to open parts that have been sealed
at the factory.
Do not paint or decorate the patio heater.
The ventilation slots on the patio heater
must not be blocked.
Bolt the patio heater to the ground if there
is any danger of it toppling.
Do not expose the glass tube to water or
other liquids when it is hot!
