BATTERY PACK
TROUBLESHOOTING
The battery pack is equipped
with a thermal protection device
that can trip if a foreign object is
W A R N I N G
shorting across contacts. This device
resets automatically shortly after the
fault is removed. It is not possible to
accurately measure battery pack
voltage at the external radio contacts.
1.
Ensure that all batteries are
properly oriented and that there
are no foreign objects in the
battery pack.
2.
Ensure that the battery-to-radio
contacts are clean, dry and not
damaged.
3.
Ensure that the tray-to-battery
contacts are clean, dry and not
damaged.
4.
Ensure that battery-type-selector-
switch is toggled to position
according to battery chemistry
used.
