Two types of the heating controller are available LATHERM HZR COMFORT (HZR-C): 8 configurations and 6 relays – for maximum adjustment and regula- tion comfort. LATHERM HZR EXTENSION CON- Up to 7 extension controllers can be connected by eBus to your TROLLER (HZR-E): heating controller.

    Your heating controller is structured like this 7.2. Basic information about the menu navigation With these four keys you can easily reach every menu point. With the keys you can get from the starting menu (an example is shown on the previous page) into every submenu to adjust several values.

    Submenu operating modes Operating mode Symbol Meaning Vacation The heating operation and the hot water support are switched off or the heating runs at night level, depending on the last active automatic operating mode (day/OFF or day/night). When adjusting this operating mode, you are asked to enter a start date and an end date.

Manual hot water loading With this function you can manually reload the hot water storage tank, that means, you get hot water in times, when your heating and your hot water support are normally switched off. You manually change the tempera- ture level of the hot water until the next switching time or until the hot water loading is finished.

    Submenu switching times Move with the keys to the desired switching time. Change time, day or level Change a (day/night) by moving with the key between the different values and change the switching values with the keys .The flashing cursor shows, which value can be time: changed currently.

Analog remote control FW-D (optional) With the FW-D you can change the setpoint values day and night and choose the operating mode (see figure below) by remote control. In addition the room temperature is registered and is analysed by the controller (room influence).

    DCF radio clock (optional) 18. DCF radio clock (optional) The time signal, that is sent out from the DCF 77 sender and received by the radio clock, enables a synchroni- sation to the second of the controller integrated timer. The radio clock automatically adjusts the summer / winter time changeovers.
