Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour
before or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food poisoning or
sickness.
WARM HOLD keeps hot, cooked food warm in your
microwave oven. You can use WARM HOLD by
itself, or to automatically follow a cooking cycle.
NOTES:
• Opening the oven door cancels WARM HOLD.
Close the door and touch WARM HOLD, then
touch START/ENTER if additional WARM HOLD
time is desired.
• Food cooked covered should be covered during
WARM HOLD.
• Pastry items (pies, turnovers, etc.) should be
uncovered during WARM HOLD.
• Complete meals kept warm on a dinner plate
should be covered during WARM HOLD.
• Do not use more than one complete WARM HOLD
cycle. The quality of some foods will suffer with
extended time.

steam cooking function. Foods suitable for
steaming are potatoes or rice. It works in 2 steps.
• The first step quickly brings water to a boil.
• The second step automatically adjusts to a
steaming temperature to gently steam food.

To make WARM HOLD automatically
follow another cycle:
• While entering cooking instructions, touch
WARM HOLD before touching START/ENTER,
or during cooking.
• When the last cooking cycle is over, you will hear
two tones. "WARM" will come on while the oven
continues to run.
Advantages of the steam function:
• Saves energy.
• Saves cooking time.
• Light cooking, without fat.
Some advantages of using microwaves:
• Preserves vitamins and minerals.
• Preserves the original appearance of the food.
• Preserves the color of the food.
