Self-Timer

Use the self-timer when you want to be in the picture such as a
commemorative photograph.

Select [z: Drive mode].

Set the self-timer.
m ( Q ): Shoot in 10 sec.
z
l ( k ): Shoot in 2 sec.
q : Shoot continuously in 10 sec. for
the specified number of shots*
* To set the number of continuous shots
(2–10), turn the <6> dial.
Q and k icons are displayed when
z
the camera is paired with a wireless
remote control (sold separately,
= 225).

Take the picture.
Focus on the subject, then press the
z
shutter button completely.
To check operation, look at the self-timer
z
lamp, listen for beeps, or watch the
countdown in seconds on the screen.
Self-timer lamp blinking accelerates and
z
the camera beeps quickly approx. 2 sec.
before the picture is taken.
