The AF point is blinking or two AF points are displayed.
Regarding the AF points lighting up or blinking when you press the < S >
or < G > button, see = 133.
The AF points do not light up in red.
The AF points light up in red when you shoot under low light or when
focus is achieved on a dark subject.
In the < d >, < s >, < f >, < a >, or < F > mode, you can set whether to
have the AF points light up in red for when focus is achieved ( = 569).
I cannot lock the focus and recompose the shot.
Set the AF operation to One-Shot AF. Focus lock is not possible in the
AI Servo AF/Servo AF mode or when servo takes eff ect in AI Focus AF
mode ( = 80, = 125).
The continuous shooting speed is slow.
The continuous shooting speed for high-speed continuous shooting may
be lower, depending on conditions such as these: temperature, battery
level, fl icker reduction, shutter speed, aperture, subject conditions,
brightness, AF operation, type of lens, live view shooting, use of fl ash,
and shooting settings, etc. For details, see = 150 or = 152.
The maximum burst during continuous shooting is lower.
If you shoot a subject that has fi ne detail such as a fi eld of grass, the fi le
size will be larger, and the actual maximum burst may be lower than the
number listed on = 615.
