    DVI adapters. The Cirrus LT Plus is compatible with most new adapters but there are a few older adapters that will not work. NCS sells a variety of adapters for most modern LCDs out in the market today, i.e. Mini DP to DP, Mini DP to DVI, Mini DP to VGA, etc.

    Most of these devices tend to draw too much power from the USB port. You can still connect these devices to the Cirrus LT Plus. If the device only has one USB port, use one of the two PCoIP USB ports on the left side of the notebook.

    Not all of these special devices have been tested. As a general rule, you can try different keyboards without harming the Cirrus LT Plus. Special keyboards should be plugged into the dedicated USB keyboard port on the right hand side for compatibility.

    Audio subsystem By default, audio will be output to the Cirrus LT Plus’ built-in speakers when the headphones/headset port is not used. If a webcam is installed, the webcam microphone can be used for applications like Skype.

    The notebook and docking station use different AC adapters. You must connect the 90 Watt AC Adapter (19V, 4.74A) to the docking station in order for the Cirrus LT Plus to function correctly while in the docking station.     VPN server. It is im- portant to note that while in “VPN MODE” the Cirrus LT Plus will be only able to make remote connections via VPN. Normal connections that do not require a VPN will not be possible.

    OnScreen Menu Timeout and the Teradici OSD Timeout, the Cirrus LT Plus follows a pre-determined ‘chain of events’ in certain situations. Familiar- izing yourself with these ‘chain of events’ can help you keep the Cirrus LT Plus Power Management Modes at their optimal settings.
  • Page 92 How the Cirrus LT Plus detects inactivity Cirrus LT Plus only detects inactivity by the LCD turning off (not by user inac- tivity). There are two ways that the LCD will turn off due to inactivity. If the OSM ‘Menu Display Timeout’ Menu is set to a value of X minutes, and the OSM is left open and there is no mouse or keyboard activity for a duration greater than X, the LCD will turn off.

  • Page 94 As stated before, when OSM’s ‘Do Not Sleep’ is enabled AND the Teradici OSD Timeout Menu is turned off, all of Cirrus LT Plus Power Management features will be disabled and the Cirrus LT Plus may not run optimally. En- suring that the OnScreen Menu Timeout AND the Teradici OSD Timeout value are both enabled will save energy and automatically turn off the LCD when it is supposed to.
