You have the option of purchasing either a Single or Dual USB tuner separately that will transform your V2 into a Triple or Quad tuner PVR. If you do not use a USB tuner you can loop the antenna signal through to your TV or other receivers or you can simply leave the loop out disconnected, it is not required for the V2 to work.
A. Connecting TV via HDMI Cable Most HDTVs have HDMI connectors to ensure the highest picture quality. In the rear panel of Beyonwiz V2 one HDMI connector is available for this purpose. Connect your TV to Beyonwiz V2 using a HDMI cable as follows.

Chapter 2. Installation 13 C. Connecting S/PDIF Optical Cable When you have an A/V receiver with S/PDIF digital audio input, this connection is recommended to enjoy the best audio quality, especially for the Dolby Digital sound.
Chapter 2. Installation 15 2.3 Connecting Power A 12V power adapter and cable is provided as one of the basic accessories of the Beyonwiz V2. ● Connect the power cord to the 12V power adapter and connect to the rear panel of Beyonwiz V2.
● Standby Mode POWER key is normally used to turn the power of Beyonwiz V2 on or off. If you press POWER, it instantly switches your Beyonwiz V2 off or on. In this mode, the system is not completely shut down and thus it takes a shorter time to turn it on and off.

The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) displays the program information of each channel for a minimum of 7days in advance where broadcast. The Beyonwiz V2 EPG is one of the most advanced in the market giving users multiple features and customization options.

System Configuration 40 Channel Scanning How to use > Press Menu>Setup>Tuners You will usually scan all your channels in when you do the initial Setup Wizard but from time to time you may need to perform a channel scan if channels change frequency, new channels become available or some channels where not found in the initial scan.
Parental control and a blocked program comes on based on your settings it will require a pin to view the program. Please note that the V2 relies on the broadcaster or EPG provider to broadcast the rating in their guide data.
Backing up & Restoring your Settings The V2 allows you to Backup your settings, this is a very useful tool that backs up your Timers, Channels, favourites, network and other custom settings so that in the event you have to perform a factory reset or you upgrade the software you can restore these settings so you do not have to spend time setting these things up again.

These will be less frequent but will include any major system updates and also include all online and USB updates up to the date of the Images release.
