Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com The machine will preheat the platform first, when the temperature gets to the target point, the nozzle will start to warm up. When it reaches to its temperature, the print will start automatically. When it starts to print, check whether the platform height is appropriate or not. It can be adjusted with the four height adjustment screws at the bottom.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com The standard height difference between the nozzle and platform is as thick as a card. Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com Chapter6 Solution when unable to install Arduino driver If you are using starter edition windows system, a system error might prompt up as ' the system can not locate the specified file' when installing Arduino driver, as shown below.
Page 33
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com To solve this problem: 1.First, open C:\windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log This file contains relevant plug-and-play device and driver program installation info, and of course it tells you the reasons why it fails to install the Arduino driver. Open this file, slide to the end of the file name, you can see the info as shown below: This missing file is the reason why the Arduino cannot be installed.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 4. Re-install the driver, and now it will be successfully installed. Chapter 7 Software introduction 7.1 Quick print Press Expert and choose switch to quick print, as shown below. 2014 Mytrix Technology All rights reserved Third Version...
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 7.2 Full settings Point the mouse to the parameter, you can see the details of every parameter. 7.3 Parameter introduction 7.3.1 General setting 1. Layer height: the thickness of every layer of the filament, support 0.05-0.3, value between 0.1-0.2 is recommended.
Page 36
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 3. Enable retraction: retract the filament when print. Effect: Without retraction, it will over pull the filament which will impact the overall printing. 4. Bottom/top thickness: the thickness of the bottom and the top. Effect: If the printed model has damaged holes on the top, please adjust the thickness figure accordingly.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com for gravity reason. Therefore, a support is needed. But not for all. None: no support is needed. Touching build plate: support from outside, only add support for the overhang part outside of the model. Everywhere: add to every part of the model as long as it is overhang, including inside of the model.
Page 38
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 3. Retraction distance: the length of filament. These two parameter will only valid when choose retraction allow in the general setting. Effect: If the length of the retraction filament is too short, it will possibly lead to over- pulled, if it is too long, the filament might be able to be loaded.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 10. Outer shell speed: the speed of print wall, slow print can make the wall print better. Effect: Slow down the print speed of wall, the surface will be smoother. 11. Inner shell speed: the speed of the print in wall. Higher speed can shorten the print time.

Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com Chapter 9 Print technique FDM format 3D printer has its own print features, mastering those features can print out perfect graphic. Summarized as follows: 9.1 Flat bottom When start to print, choose the flat bottom side, because it starts to print from the bottom and then all the layers up, so the bottom decide the whole print quality.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 9.2 Avoiding overhang Because the filament that come out from the nozzle is fluid during printing, it will drop down for gravity reason, if there is any overhang in the printed image, the filament will drop down. Therefore, we need to use software to form a support when print, and remove it after print is done.
Page 49
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com Overhang should be avoided starting from designing the graphic, 90°overhang can be replaced by upward sloping, or separate the overhang part of the graphic and then stick them all together with glue at a later stage...

Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 9.3 Assembling matching graphic tolerance If the printed object is a graphic needed to be assembled, for example, graphic like screw matching screw cap/toothed gear, because plastic will expand with heat and contract with cold and also the inflated edge of the bottom during printing, the tolerance should be bigger, normally set as 0.4m, it can be set according to the actual graphic.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com Chapter 10 FAQ 1、Q: Got electrical shock when using the machine The machine has a metal cabinet which comes with static electricity, it will not cause harm to human body. The reason why it has static electricity is that the ground filament has not been connected yet.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com unplug the cooling fan of machine. 3、Q:Unable to load the filament A:the reasons could be as follows 1. The temperature has not reached the best melting point of the filament. Adjust the temperature, usually to increase.
Mytrix Technology - http://www.mytrixtech.com 3. Do not touch the nozzles and heating plate in the process of printing or when they are still hot, to avoid injury. 4. Do not repair, modify, dismantle the 3D printer, nor remove screws, it may cause warranty invalidation.
