To control temperature, the thermostat sensor must be placed in a position in order to take an accurate temperature reading. For practical purposes National Luna has elected to place this temperature sensor behind the metal surface forming the interior compartment of the Fridge/Freezer. Thus the switching on and off of the compressor will be controlled by the compartment surface area temperature. -
