How do I connect my InkBird ISV 100watt to the personal hotspot on myiPhone?
The Inkbird ISV-100W sous vide device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. iPhone personal hotspots typically use 5GHz by default, which is not compatible. To connect it using an iPhone hotspot:
1. Go to iPhone Settings > Personal Hotspot.
2. Change the hotspot to use 2.4GHz (if your iPhone allows changing the band).
3. Turn on the hotspot and note the name (SSID) and password.
4. Plug in the sous vide device and ensure it is in Smartconfig mode (LCD symbol flashes rapidly, 250ms interval).
5. Open the InkbirdSmart app.
6. Tap "+" or "Add device."
7. Select the 2.4GHz hotspot network, enter the password, and follow prompts to connect.
